I grew up in Kitsilano and played hockey and baseball like most kids in the area at the time. I grew up near the old RE/MAX office that was at West 16th and Macdonald. I remember walking by the shiny cars in the lot and out front of the building en route to Carnarvon. At that age, I had no clue what they did but it sure looked cool. I was 10 years old for context.
I went to Kitsilano High School and had a front-row seat to our city in transition. Awarded the Olympics our town kicked into high gear. We now have a new skyline and some world-class buildings. The era of the green glass tower is over. We now cater to a very high-end demographic and seem to build for that buyer profile. Whether you accept it or not, Vancouver has already changed.
Now, I am a happily married man who practises real estate as best I can. This is a fun town to be a part of the fabric. I have met some of the coolest and most random people through the sport of golf. Nobody has an age at a golf course, just a handicap. That simulated pressure environment is what fills my cup. I love to play or practice as often as possible.
I had the good fortune to marry someone with an adventuresome spirit and a drive like no other. If I had my way, I would just travel the world with her. However, life, school, work, obligations, etc and the whole reason that you are still reading about me on this website...
Real Estate.
